The beauty of using the extension is that you do not have to open a new window to login to your account and a new window just pops up when you try to save something.
More information on how to use this extension is avialable here for Firefox and Internet Explorer.
* Clip and collect information as you surf the web.
* Stay in your browser window.
* Organize your notes from the web page you're on.
Google Notebook is still in Google Labs stage and has not been released as a beta.
Google Notebook extenstion will work in Windows and Linux environments, it may not work with the MAC OS, you can use the Google Notebook extension on Firefox 1.5+ and Internet Explorer 6.
Overall I think this is a nice product and will save me the pain of opening and saving notepads everytime i want to copy text or for that matter a word file to copy images etc.
